Women and Words: MOAR women pilots, please!

August 12, 2018

Women and Words Overview 4 -10 August, 2018

Andi is on the road yet again, but would like to report that one of her flights had a really hot crew AND a woman pilot (which just makes things even hotter). Both Jove and Andi got weepy over Lynette Mae’s blog regarding her campaign and then they  talked about writing process (WHAT?) which ended up going into a long discussion about taking care of your mental health and depression among creatives. Also, Fiona Zedde is in Paris. AGAIN.

4 Aug.:  Women and Wordster Ann Etter was out doing cool things like sea kayaking with her family (go see the photos!), but she did have a few books to recommend.

5 Aug.: Author Rebecca Langham stopped by to chat up her latest releases, the sci fi book Beneath the Surface (as Rebecca Langham) and the Australian-set romance, Riding the Track (as Kara Ripley).

6 Aug.: Author and Women and Wordster Lynette Mae gave us an update on her campaigning as a political candidate in Pennsylvania, especially with regard to anti-trans pushback in a local school.

7 Aug.: Author and Women and Wordster Penny Mickelbury asks how, given all we know about the cray in the current administration, people can still support it (and basically, nobody can figure it out…)

8 Aug.: Writer and Women and Wordster Val Agab is trying to figure out how to get that writing in, because it’s not writer’s block if you’re really busy. RIGHT? RIGHT????

9 Aug.: Author and Women and Wordster Fiona Zedde is in Paris, doing some writerly things but also wandering (go check out the photos!).

10 Aug.: Author Alison Solomon stopped by to let people know about Readout 2019, in Gulfport Florida. It happens in February, and it’s LGBTQ books. If you’re an author and you’d like to do a reading, check the blog for deets.
